B) Translation:  Written

  • Our price range is from 11-20. When price comparing, please keep in mind we charge for the source word. Charging for the target word becomes confusing for the client. If the clients prefers, we can charge by the hour.

2) Difference between a bilingual staff member and a professional Interpreter/Translator?

Interpretation: A bilingual individual is one that is (should be) able to speak two languages at a high level. However, research shows that people who describe themselves as bilingual regularly overstate their skills. It's important to do your due diligence! Insure the candidate speaks both languages clearly and is proficient at moving information around (lateralization) between the two languages without hesitation.

Translation: Frankly, translation is not an easy task. Please do not assume that a bilingual staff member has the ability or experience to translate important documents. A professional company will get it done:
a) Faster b) Right the first time c) Guarantee that it's correct!

3) Why do I need a professional Interpreter or a professional Translator?

A) Professional Interpreter:
Spoken

  • Image
  • Trust
  • Understanding of gestures and cultures
  • Clear without hesitation

B) Professional Translator: Written

  • Accountability
  • Done right the first time
  • Understanding of specialized language
  • Avoid delays with government agencies or legal projects that require certified translation.

4) How long does it take to translate a project?

In general, an average translation project takes about 72 hours. If formatting and shipping is necessary, it can take another day or so! It depends on the mailing options chosen by the client.
